India to host International Seafood Show
Fishery experts from India and abroad will gather to exchange ideas on seafood related topics and make presentations during the 15th Indian International Seafood Show 2006 beginning at Kolkata from Feb 3.
The show is a biennial event jointly organised by the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) and the Seafood Exporters Association of India.
The show is a platform to exhibit the capabilities of Indian fishing and processing industries and will facilitate the marketing of Indian fishery products to countries like the US, EU and Japan. It also aims to be a place for buyers and sellers of marine products to network and conclude business deals.
A high-level delegation from Norway is expected and numerous participants from India and abroad will be showcasing their products at the fair.
