Russia's Yaroslavl region detects outbreak of African Swine Fever
 

 

African Swine Fever (ASF) was found in a dead wild boar in Uglich's hunting territory located in Russia's Yaroslavl region on January 24.

 

Material was sent to the Yaroslavl regional veterinary laboratory. African swine fever was diagnosed after tests were conducted.

 

Rosselkhoznadzor has instructed Yaroslavl, Tver and Pskov regions to interact with the concerned veterinary authorities so that together, they can come up with a set of measures aimed at preventing the spread of the ASF.
