Ukraine's MHP receives egg export permit to Russia
One of the major poultry producers in Ukraine, Mironovskiy Hleboproduct SA (MHP), received a permit to export hatching eggs to Russia as the company seeks to increase sales.
The STOV Starynska Ptakhofabryka farm in the Kiev region will supply 10.5 million hatching eggs to Russia's OOO Ptitsefabrika Zadonskaya this year, Mironovskiy Hleboproduct, known as MHP, said Friday (Jan 28). More than 400,000 hatching eggs have already been supplied.
MHP, which is listed in London, said November 16 third-quarter profit in dollar terms climbed to US$56 million, from US$13 million a year earlier. Sales increased 28% to US$253 million.
