Aleph Farms receives world's first regulatory approval for cultured beef

Israel has issued the world's first regulatory approval for cultured beef, made by Aleph Farms under the brand name Aleph Cuts, Warp News reported.

Aleph Farms, a pioneer in cellular agriculture technology, focuses on creating high-quality products from cells derived from cattle. The approval marks a significant milestone in the field of cultured meat, where cells are cultured in controlled environments.

Aleph Farms, benefiting from regional and global organisational support, has developed a method that involves culturing beef cells from a Black Angus cow combined with a plant-based protein matrix, completely devoid of any animal derivatives.

Aleph Farms' achievement aligns with a broader trend in the industry, where innovations in dairy production, such as producing dairy products in bioreactors, mirror the strides made in cultured meat production.
