Further slide in China lysine prices

Lysine prices were stable to lower during the week ending January 30.

With domestic feed demand remaining slack due to an underperforming hog market, lysine producers were compelled to slash prices further in attempts to stimulate sales.

For imported 98.5-percent lysine, transacted prices slid to the range of RMB10.70-11.20/kg.

Lysine sales will be limited amid cautious feed demand.
