Output fall, demand rise perk up China calcium phosphate prices

Prices were mixed during the period in review.

Traders were less eager to make purchases of late due to higher transportation costs, prompting several producers to lower prices in efforts to stimulate buying. Meanwhile, in the consumption regions, traders lifted the prices of calcium phosphate, albeit cautiously, while supplies tightened amid transportation difficulties.

Prices of calcium phosphate are unlikely to fall sharply in the near term as raw ingredients costs remain high. After Chinese New Year holidays, calcium phosphate market will be under pressure due to slack demand.
