Australia beef exports to US to rise by 14% in 2013
 

Meat and Livestock Australia are expecting beef exports to the US to rise by 14% in 2013.
 
While MLA says it's keeping an eye on the current severe wet weather further north, it's forecasting that more beef cattle will be moved through the sale yards this year as drier conditions prevail across the southern states.
 
MLA's chief economist Tim McRae says that should see the national cattle herd start to level out after three years of steady growth.
