Denmark backs Poland to increase EU milk quota
Denmark announced its support as Poland advocates for a 5-percent increase in the EU milk production quotas, minister Marek Sawicki said.
Previously, Brussels proposed for a 2-percent quota.
Danish minister, Eva Kjer Hansen, confirmed that her country was in favour of Poland's thrust to open the EU milk market more rapidly than initially planned in an existing draft proposal by the European Commission.
