China Ban Poultry Exports From Guangxi, Hunan and Hubei

China will ban exports of poultry from bird flu affected regions including Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region bordering Vietnam, and Hunan and Hubei provinces in central China, the Ministry of Commerce said Thursday.

In addition, poultry imports from the Republic of Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Pakistan and Indonesia will be suspended.

The virus has not jumped to human beings in China yet, according to Chinese official sources.
