Output value of China's Hebei livestock industry grew 6.8% in 2004

The livestock industry in Hebei, China maintained its fast growth in 2004, with total production value rising 6.8% over the previous year.

Meat production rose 6.7% to register 5.401 million tons, while the fishery industry continued its steady pace of development in 2004. Poultry egg and milk production stood at 4.329 million tons and 2.665 million tons respectively, increasing 4.3% and 34.6% in 2004.
