The major importers of Russian grain in 2011 included Egypt, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kenya, Libya, Saudi Arabia, and others.

The plant also supplied over 50,000 tonnes of grain under international humanitarian aid programs to North Korea and Nicaragua in 2011.

The plant's shipping capacity amounts to roughly 450,000 tonnes per month.

In the 2010-2011 season, Novorossiisk Cereal Product Plant exported 547,024 tonnes of grain, compared with 3.36 million tonnes exported in the 2009-2010 season.

Established in 2009, the United Grain Company is the government's agent for grain purchases aimed at supporting domestic producers and increasing competition.
