Russia ceases restriction on Lithuania's pork exports
Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance has ceased its temporal restrictions on Lithuania's pork export, revealed the authorities of the Lithuanian State Food and Veterinary Service.
The restriction was applied on June when the Classical Swine Fever (CSF) virus was detected in pig farms in Jonava, Kaunas district.
The Kaunas district was the latest area in Lithuania to have Russian restrictions on import of pork and other products not being heat treated, said LETA/ELTA.
