Thousands Of Chickens Culled As Indonesia Grapples With Bird Flu

In one of the worst-hit areas, poultry farmers slaughtered and burned thousands of infected chickens on the resort island of Bali.

"I urge other farmers follow suit and give vaccines to healthy ones," said Bali Governor Dewa Made Beratha, adding that the local government was ordering 50,000 vaccines from China to distribute to farmers.
