Argentina's nov grain stocks down 14% from Yr ago
Stocks of major grains and oilseeds in Argentina totaled 8,792,401 metric tons in November, the Agriculture Secretariat said Friday.
This puts stocks of corn, soybeans, sunseed and wheat down about 14% from 10,229,866 tons a year earlier.
The following information, which is for stocks in tons for major grains and oilseeds through Nov. 30, 2004, Oct. 31, 2004, and Nov. 30, 2003, does not include grains and oilseeds held privately by farmers.
The Secretariat this month again changed the way it collects, analyzes and publishes grain stocks data. The information below refers to the total amount of stocks, and shows stocks held separately by millers and crushers, as well as grains those stored in silos.
