Pakistan livestock department facilitates investment for cattle, poultry industry

The Pakistan Livestock Department has established a dedicated counter at the Business Facilitation Centre (BFC), designed to streamline the issuance of 13 different types of Non-Objection Certificates (NOC), ensuring a smoother process for individuals and businesses interested in investing into the country's cattle and poultry livestock industry, Associated Press of Pakistan reported.

Dr Muhammad Ashraf, Director Livestock Multan Division, highlighted that the NOCs cover a range of areas, including animal feed mills, poultry feed mills, halal certification, artificial insemination, and more. These certificates, crucial for regulatory compliance, are now issued promptly within a 30-day timeframe.

The introduction of this special counter not only expedites the NOC issuance process but also aims to boost business activities in the region. Dr Ashraf said that the counter serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking comprehensive information about these livestock-related businesses.

Deputy Director Jalalpur Pirwala Dr Jamsheed, urged citizens to consider investing in the Livestock sector, citing its immense potential for economic returns. He highlighted that the Livestock Department is committed to providing continuous support to investors, ensuring a conducive environment for growth and development in the sector.
