China Inositol: Prices fall 60% on-year (week ended Jan 15, 2024)

With supply exceeding demand, prices of inositol dropped significantly. Compared with a year ago, inositol prices have tumbled almost 60%.
Export prices plummeted to US$8/kg.
In the local market, inositol transact prices decreased to the range of RMB57.20-80/kg.
Inositol prices are expected to slide further as producers compete to clear stocks.
