China AA Broiler: Prices rebound to three month high (week ended Jan 15, 2024)

AA broiler demand  was stable as releases were limited, helping to lift prices over the week. Prices rebounded to levels unseen since early October.

AA broiler prices rebounded 3.9% to RMB8.16/kg, compared with the previous week. Compared with a year ago, prices of AA broiler were lower by 4%.

Prices of AA chick surged RMB1.30-1.50/chick to the range of RMB2.40-2.90/chick amid tight availability.

AA broiler supplies will be limited, helping to strengthen pries amid improved pre-Chinese New Year sales.
