Even as imports were limited, port inventories of fishmeal increased 2.7% to 73,000 tonnes. This was due to slack demand for fishmeal in China with piglet population low and aqua feed production almost non-existent. Price quotes for prime-grade products stayed flat in the range of RMB13,800-14,000/tonne.
