Hormel Foods launches SPAM in China
Hormel Foods is launching SPAM in China, expanding on the success of the company's iconic meat product line in other Asian markets.
SPAM family of products for Hormel Foods International senior product manager, Marianne Pollock said the launch of SPAM in China was based on the success of the brand delighting consumers in Korea, Philippines and Japan.
Pollock said Hormel is focusing marketing efforts on introducing Chinese consumers to the "salty-sweet sizzle taste" by way of product samples and "one-on-one marketing tactics".
