Egypt GASC buys 175,000 tonnes Russian, US Wheat
 

 

Egypt's General Authority for Supply Commodities, or GASC bought 175,000 tonnes of US and Russian wheat.

 

Of the total, GASC bought 55,000 tonnes of US soft red wheat from Perdue, on a free-on-board basis, at the price of US$179.68 a tonne, Nomani, undersecretary and vice chairman of GASC told Dow Jones Newswires.

 

GASC also bought 120,000 tonnes of Russian wheat in Egyptian pounds on the basis of landed cost out of the free zones.
