Bunge North America announced a leadership transition for its Canadian operations by appointing Karl Gerrand as Managing Director in Canada, who will replace Richard "Rick" A. Watson, retiring effective March 31, 2013.

Gerrand joins Bunge from Viterra, Inc., where he worked for eight years, most recently as chief operating officer of global processing operations. He is active in industry associations, having served on the board of directors and on the executive committee of the North American Millers Association.
