China aims to sell 500,000 tonnes corn from state reserves

 

 

China plans to sell 500,000 tonnes of corn from state reserves Tuesday, the National Grain and Oil Trade Center said late Friday (January 18, 2007).

 

The government has sold 508,630 tonnes of corn from its state reserves since last December, or 17 percent of the 3 million tonnes it planned to sell.
