Hamlet Protein sponsors series of swine events in Canada and US

Hamlet Protein, global leader in vegetable protein specialties for young animal nutrition, affirmed its commitment to the swine industry through its sponsorships of industry leading events in Canada and the United States.
The seminars, tradeshows, and technical presentations allowed for in depth discussions with industry professionals, academics, and government representatives on the latest insights shaping animal nutrition and animal protein markets.
The BANFF Pork Conference in Banff, Canada, is one of the largest dedicated swine conferences in North America. Hamlet Protein presented a poster on "Antinutritional Factors in Soybean meal and its impact on the health and performance of farm animals".
In the US, the South Dakota Pork Conference is a state swine conference that is appreciated by several of Hamlet Protein's key customers. The Iowa Pork Expo in Des Moines will host a tradeshow and series of technical presentations. As Hamlet Protein has a production plant in Findlay (Ohio), the Ohio Pork Conference is a fixed fixture on the company's agenda.
"Through the sponsorship and team attendance at these renowned swine events, we show our commitment to the industry and practice our "Value through Knowledge" approach," said NCA Regional Director Grady Fain. "In direct contact with representatives of feed mills and integrators, we not only share the latest scientific insights into young animal nutrition but also learn about the challenges and opportunities in the market."
Based on the December 2025 USDA Hogs and Pigs Report, the US breeding herd is down 52,000 sows from a year ago, which indicates no expansion to date. The swine forecast for 2026 is a steady pig inventory and profitable pork production overall.
