Jordan buys 100,000 tonnes feed barley
Jordan's Ministry of Trade and Industry said Wednesday that it had bought 100,000 tonnes of feed barley, of any origin, on a cost and freight basis.
"The first 50,000 tonnes are for shipment during the second half of February and were purchased at US$149.90/tonne from Bunge while the second 50,000 tonnes are for shipment during the second half of March and were purchased at the price of US$150.40 also from Bunge," said Muhannad Ghesh, senior importer at the ministry.
Jordan last bought barley Dec 14 when it purchased 100,000 tonnes at US$150.85 a tonne, on a cost and freight basis.
