China VA: Market remains weak (week ended Jan 16, 2023)

Lacklustre demand continued to drag down the prices of vitamin A in the domestic market. However, export prices were stable due to the recent appreciation of renminbi.
In the local market, the transaction prices of VA500dipped to the range of RMB84.30-98/kg. VA1000 prices dropped to RMB173/kg.
Export prices of VA500 stayed at US12.40/kg while those of VA1000 remained at US25.50/kg.
Vitamin A market will remain soft with sales sluggish.
