İmaş Machinery to establish "first R&D centre of its sector"

The application of İmaş Machinery to the Turkish Ministry of Science, Industry, and Technology for its R&D centre has been approved. This marks the company's signing off of the "first R&D centre of its sector".

İmaş Machinery, an affiliate of İttifak Holding, has received 21 designs and patents within the scope of recent R&D works. The company said it has become the first company to have an R&D centre in the machinery installation industry.
The centre would be the sixth for Konya, Turkey. İmaş Machinery would be carrying out activities such as research and development, product designing, product development, diagram designing, system designing, software, and automation.
Stating that they export 90% of production to almost 90 countries, Mustafa Özdemir, the general manager of İmaş Machinery, stressed that they believe performing beneficial works for the country will only be possible through added-value products or services, and this will only be achieved through innovation, and they have been focusing on R&D activities within this scope.
