China Lysine Weekly: Prices continue to slide (week ended Jan 17, 2017)
Despite rising hog prices, feed producers limited feed output for the sector in view of slack demand after Chinese New Year due to low animal inventories. With usages low and export orders slow while renminbi strengthened, lysine producers were compelled to cut prices further amid strong competition.
