Provimi debuts new range for calf milk replacer

Provimi has developed a range of calf milk replacers under a new brand, ProviMilk.

The company is launching a range of milk replacers in a distinctive new packaging to suit specific management systems and targets.
 

"The ProviMilk products benefit from improved formulae and  better digestibility," says Jan Soede, formulation manager.
 

"The very precise amino acid profile that is included in our calf milks and the gut conditioning package NuStart remains unchanged."
 

The NuStart gut conditioning package aims to improve dry food intakes, rumen development and supporting healthy gut microflora.
 

The ProviMilk range has been developed to mix easily and highly palatable with a distinctive flavouring. These characteristics have been made with the aim of stabilising the milk intake of young calves.
 

Four ProviMilk products, Excel, Total, Daisy and Elevator, are whey-based milks with high levels of dairy protein and are designed to encourage meal intake and maximise rumen development.
 

Elevator is specifically designed for accelerated replacement heifer rearing with rapid frame development and lean tissue growth.
 

ProviMilk Prestige and ProviMilk Elite are skim milk based with high quality protein profiles to promote early growth rates and improved lifetime performance, with Elite having been designed specifically for high performance beef calves.
