Study signifies positive future for Swedish milk farmers
Swedish milk farmers have a more positive outlook towards the future than they have typically had in the past, according to a recent study conducted by the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
During the first seven years of the study, approximately 40% of Sweden's milk farmers had expected to go out of business within the next 10 years.
This has been cut in half, however, in the board's most recent survey. Optimism is particularly high in the woodland areas of the region of Götaland.
