New managing director of Addcon GmbH and ADDCON EUROPE appointed

Luca Mantovani will be appointed as managing director of Addcon GmbH and ADDCON EUROPE GmbH, effective as of January 9.

Mantovani will coordinate all tasks of the two subsidiaries of the Esseco Group in Germany. At the same time,  he will align with Esseco Group to ensure smooth operations, in particular with regard to the investment and maintenance projects in Bitterfeld, Germany, as well the further integration of ADDCON product ranges into the product portfolio of Esseco.

"I am looking forward to my new role as general manager in Addcon GmbH and ADDCON EUROPE GmbH, and will… spend the necessary time in Germany in order to understand local processes and needs, work on priorities and support the success of Esseco Germany," Mantovani said.

Mantovani have held roles in several countries including France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and the United Kingdom.

He started his career with Esseco in 1987 before joining DSM in 1990. Additionally, he was previously chief executive officer in pharmaceutical and specialty chemical companies before joining Esseco again in 2021 as managing director of Esseco UK.

Mantovani will continue to be managing director of Esseco UK.

He holds a Masters in food science and technology from Milan University.
