Ukraine's dairy breeding to develop innovative approaches

Ukraine's Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk initiated the analysis and development of new ways to develop the country's dairy breeding sector.

"Dairy breeding is extremely important for the agricultural sector of our country. Firstly, dairy products are export-oriented, and secondly, we need to ensure food security", the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food said.
 

Inspecting one of the private farms in Korosten district of Zhytomyr region, Mykola Prysyazhnyuk emphasised that the task of ministry - together with businesses to ensure sustainable development of the dairy industry.

"Today we have agreed with the leaderships of the region that together we will allocate funds from the regional and state budgets to support farmers and dairy industry development. This will enable control of the funds and stimulate the development", Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
