TARGAN to demonstrate automated feather sex identification system at IPPE 2025 in Georgia, US

TARGAN will demonstrate proven capabilities of its WingScan system at the 2025 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States, continuing to pioneer automated feather sexing technology for broiler production.

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, TARGAN is an animal ag-tech systems company focused on transforming animal protein production industries worldwide.

With units installed across the US and Canada and more systems set to launch across Europe in the coming months, WingScan utilises advanced artificial intelligence-powered imaging technology and sophisticated algorithms to accurately identify and sort millions of male and female day-old chicks each month.

To date, WingScan has processed over half a billion birds, delivering exceptional throughput rates of up to 160,000 chicks per hour, depending on system configuration, according to TARGAN.
