China's December 2023 soybean imports dropped 6.9% year-on-year

China imported 9.82 million metric tonnes of soybeans in December last year.

The amount was down 6.9% from a year earlier, customs data showed on January 12.

China's 2023 soybean imports were 11.4% higher than the year before at 99.41 million metric tonnes, data from the General Administration of Customs showed.
