JSR appoints international key accounts manager

UK pig genetics company, JSR Group, has appointed John Alexander as key account manager for its international accounts team.

With 28 years of experience in the European breeding stock market, Alexander's main responsibility involves the assistance of JSR's partners in achieving business growth objectives, as well as establishing new franchises and developing direct sales opportunities across the world.

He will also oversee the development and management of JSR's franchise model.

"I am delighted to be joining JSR… and I am looking forward to the challenge of helping to further expand JSR's business in Europe and Africa," commented Alexander on his appointment. "Along with helping our existing partners to grow their business, I will also be looking to develop new business in Europe and further afield using my experience in the international breeding stock sector.

Alexander was previously with Pig Improvement Company (PIC) during 1985 – 2013, and had served in a number of roles there including deputy overseas projects manager, business planning manager, regional manager for Southern Europe, and international franchise and business development manager.
