China Live Hog Weekly: Delayed deliveries underpin prices (week ended Jan 11, 2018)
Heavy snows hampered deliveries of hog in several regions, particularly in the northern parts of China. Hence, even as pork demand was not particularly strong, prices of hog stabilised in most markets. Hog prices inched up 0.49% while those of pork carcass edged higher 0.14%.
