Taiwan Seeking 30,000-60,000 MT US No 2 Soybeans
Taiwan's Breakfast Soybean Procurement Association's Kaohsiung branch is seeking offers for 30,000-60,000 metric tons of U.S. No. 2 soybeans in a buy tender at 0730 GMT Tuesday, a BSPA Kaohsiung official said Monday.
Shipment dates will be Feb. 19 to March 2 from the U.S. Gulf, or March 3- 17 from the Pacific Northwest, he said.
Dec. 30, BSPA Kaohsiung bought 46,500 tons of U.S. No. 2 soybeans in a tender from Louis Dreyfus, at a cost-and-freight premium of 179 U.S. cents a bushel to the Chicago Board of Trade's May 2004 soybean contract. Shipment dates will be Feb. 16 to March 1 from the Pacific Northwest.
