Morocco suspends cattle imports from UK for one year

 

 

 

Morocco's Customs and Excise Administration has decided to suspend imports of cattle from the United Kingdom after the discovery of animal diseases.

 

The measure came into force on January 1 and will last for a year.

 

The decision was made by the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture, taking into consideration the health status of livestock in the UK and Northern Ireland.
