China Live Hog Weekly: Limited demand softens prices (week ended Jan 4, 2018)
Hog prices remained soft before and after the New Year holidays, as slaughterhouses were reluctant to increase stockpiles. However, with hog quantity low, price falls were limited to 0.28%. Pork carcass prices inched lower 0.10% to RMB21.03/kg.
