Belarus ceases livestock imports from Hungary and Czech Republic

 

 

Belarus has ceased cattle and poultry imports from Hungary and the Czech Republic respectively, due to concerns over livestock diseases.

 

The Belarusian state veterinary service said it would impose a temporary ban on Hungarian cattle after an animal tested positive for antibodies of the Schmallenberg virus.
