South Korea To Create Beef Identification System
South Korea has plans to create a beef identification system due to consumer's concerns in domestic beef safety, the government announced Tuesday.
The lifetime identification of cattle, technically known as "traceability," monitors the whole process of the raising, butchery and circulation of cattle by saving and reading all information on the animals in electronic chips or bar codes.
