China Lysine: Prices firm amid high costs, sales limited (week ended Jan 4, 2020)
Lysine producers held prices firm while the costs of corn surged to new highs. However, as most feed producers have stocked inventories to last until February or March, sales slowed lately, hence putting a lid on the prices. Nevertheless, export prices increased due to the recent appreciation of renminbi.
