Egypt buys 240,000 tonnes of Russian wheat

 
 

Egypt's state-owned wheat buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC), said on Thursday (Dec 31) it bought 240,000 tonnes of Russian wheat on a free-on-board basis.

 

Of the total, GASC bought 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat from WJ Grain at US$191.88/tonne and two cargoes of 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat from Nidera at US$191.47/tonne.

 

GASC also bought another 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat from Cargill for US$191.47/tonne.

 

The wheat is for shipment on March 10-20.
