Pakistan's poultry association committee discusses industry's disease control

On December 28, a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Pakistan Poultry Association (PPA) for National Disease Control was held at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore, The News of Pakistan reports.

According to a press release issued, PPA President, Raza Mahmood Khursand, chaired the meeting while UVAS Vice-Chancellor, Professor Talat Naseer Pasha, Standing Committee for National Disease Control Convener, Mustafa Kamal, and researchers from government and private sectors attended the meeting.

Preventive measures against the poultry disease were discussed in the meeting, and the participants gave various suggestions to prevent diseases. It was decided that in the next committee meeting, the researchers would present their research papers on the poultry diseases.
