French Duc acquires production site in Brittany

French poultry group Duc SA recently acquired a production site in Brittany, northwest of France.

Duc SA said the operation would enable the optimisation of the synergies within the group.

The site in Brittany specialises in the production of poultry-based products. It is also is located in the municipality of Plumelin, near Duc's sites in Riec-sur-Belon municipality.

Duc is known for production and sale of chicken and poultry products, including turkey products, kebabs and marinated poultry.

The group operates through several subsidiaries, including incubation specialists Charolles Accouvage and Drome Accouvage, reproductive husbandry division Scea de Varennes, and animal nutrition affiliate Nutri-Bourgogne.
