Ceva to distribute swine products in Malaysia through distributor
 

Rhone Ma Holdings Bhd via its unit Rhone Ma Malaysia Sdn Bhd has entered a joint venture with CEVA Sante Animale S.A. for the exclusive distribution of the latter's animal health products related to swine, the Star Online reported.

The agreement allows Rhone Ma to distribute, promote and sell CEVA's products in Malaysia for a period of three years, with an extension of one year unless objected to by either party.

"The Distribution Agreement with CEVA will have no effect on the issued and paid-up capital of the Company and is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings of RMH and its subsidiaries for the financial year ended 31 December 2017 as the Distribution Agreement with CEVA will only be effective from 1 January 2018.

It is expected to contribute positively towards the Group's earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending 31 December 2018. The contribution from the Distribution Agreement with CEVA is expected to mitigate the impact of the loss of revenue from the cessation of distribution of swine products from RMM's previous supplier," said Rhone Ma in its announcement.
