ForFarmers to leave poultry business

ForFarmers announced its exit from the poultry business following Dutch Cebeco's acquisition of the poultry slaughterhouse Plukon.

Plukon is now fully owned by the Cebeco group, a cooperation owned by Forfarmers and Agrifirm.

Dutch feed company Agrifirm plans to stay involved in the new ownership structure, stating that Plukon is a healthy and growing company. 

ForFarmers, on the other hand, said it wants to concentrate on its key activity of animal feed sales.
