China Lysine Weekly: Slack demand, excess supply weaken prices (week ended Dec 30, 2014)
As soymeal prices continued to fall while livestock market remained soft, lysine demand failed to pick up during the week in review. Producers eagerly slashed prices to entice buyers but in vain. In Europe, price quotes for Q1 2015 deliveries were at EUR1.54-1.57/kg.
