China Whey Weekly: Prices soften amid subdued demand (week ended Dec 30, 2012)
Whey prices weakened in China due to low piglet inventories. Moreover, several feed millers withheld buying after securing sufficient have supplies lately. Whey market will continue to be under pressure as piglet small-scale farmers were reluctant to build inventories.
