Egypt's GASC to purchase 120,000 tonnes of wheat

Egypt's state-owned General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) said it was tendering to buy up to 120,000 tonnes of wheat on a free-on-board basis.

GASC is looking to buy 55,000-60,000 tonnes of US soft red wheat, US soft white wheat, US hard red wheat and Canadian wheat.

In addition, GASC is looking for 60,000 tonnes of Australian, German, Argentinean, Kazakh, Russian or French wheat.

GASC is looking to buy the wheat for shipment March 10-20 on a FOB basis and will consider freight offers presented during the tender separately.
