China's Amino Acid Prices Update: Lysine Prices Gathering Strength While Methionine Prices Marginally Lower

The lysine market in China staged a revival on Monday, December 29, on the back of a surge in soymeal prices. Since Monday afternoon, there was an obvious increase in the number of requisitions for price quotes.

 

On the other hand, the methionine market in China remained basically stable on Monday, with prices marginally down. Contrary to past years, the market situation this year has been lackluster, lacking in demand and weakening prices, in the season leading up to the Chinese New Year holidays.
